摘要
作为近代著名爱国实业家,杜重远也以生活书店理事的身份在书店史上留下了浓墨重彩的一笔。本文在全面梳理杜重远与生活书店相关史实的基础上,展现了全面抗战爆发后,杜重远与生活书店新疆分店计划的始末关联及事业未竟之憾,并还原了彼时新疆文化事业的概貌。
Du Zhongyuan,a well-known patriotic industrialist in modern China,also played a significant role in the history of publishing in his role as the director of the Life Bookstore.This paper illustrates the relationship between Du Chongyuan and Life Bookstore in Xinjiang after the outbreak of the Second Sino-Japanese War,and Du s unrealized ambition on the basis of thoroughly going through available historical facts.This paper also introduces the general situation of Xinjiang s cultural endeavors at that time.
