摘要
折枝花纹是传统植物装饰纹样中的一种,初见于唐代,成熟于宋代。文章以宋代织绣品中的折枝花纹为研究对象,通过对南京大报恩寺遗址、福建福州黄昇墓、江西德安周氏墓等考古出土的折枝花纹进行整合梳理,结合早期史料、文献和图像资料,厘清折枝花纹的概念并从题材组合、表现手法、构图形式三个方面归纳其在宋代织绣品中的艺术特征,进而示例分析其文化意蕴。研究表明,宋代织绣品中的折枝花纹受花鸟画影响,题材丰富多以组合形式呈现,花枝生色的造型表现一改以往传统植物纹样的装饰性,以排列规律的布局呈现在织绣品中,具有折花抒情的雅趣化表达,体现祈盼祥瑞的世俗化心境并承载宋代朴雅入微的义理化精神,展现了宋代清逸淡远、俊秀雅致的时代风貌,在中国装饰艺术中别开生面。
Chinese traditional decorative patterns are the significant carriers of Chinese traditional culture. They are injected with the artistic style and cultural deposits with the characteristics of the times. Deeply influenced by the development of the flower-and-bird painting, the pattern of twigs with flowers appeared in the Tang Dynasty and matured in the Song Dynasty. It is a typical pattern in plant motifs in the Song Dynasty which is consistent with the aesthetic consciousness of the Song Dynasty. Nowadays, most researches concentrate on the “shengsehua” silk pattern of the Southern Song Dynasty that is closely related to the pattern of twigs with flowers. It is found that its composition forms include but are not limited to the pattern of twigs with flowers. However, there are few monographic studies on the textiles and embroideries of the pattern of twigs with flowers and relevant literature only briefly describes the concept and style characteristics of the pattern. Evidently, there is a lack of targeted arrangement of such patterns and analysis of their artistic characteristics and cultural implications. The in-depth study of the pattern of twigs with flowers can not only help us understand the humanistic history and aesthetic ideas of the Song Dynasty, but also make us deeply feel the significance and value of traditional Chinese art aesthetics. More importantly, it can provide the corresponding theoretical reference for the subsequent study on the pattern of twigs with flowers.We take the pattern of twigs with flowers in textiles and embroideries of the Song Dynasty as the research object, and comb corresponding patterns unearthed in the archaeological sites and tombs of the Song Dynasty. The collected physical sample pictures are combined with early historical documents for analysis. Firstly, the origin of the pattern of twigs with flowers is clarified and its concept is expounded.
