摘要
进入21世纪之后,政治学成为日本学术界推进国际化进程的重点学科之一。对2000—2020年发表于20本高影响力政治学英文期刊的论文统计后发现,日本学者表现出较高的存在感和活跃度,其国际合作程度高于全球平均水平,研究议题也不限于日本本身,具有相当的广泛性。在计量政治学和政治学方法论等领域,部分日本学者事实上已成为国际学术界的领军人物,对于量化研究方法的反思也由此成为日本政治学研究国际化进程的一个重要侧面。通过创办本土英文期刊、推动国际学术交流、促进学科的多元化发展、加强语际融合等方式,日本政治学研究的学术生态正在发生微妙而积极的变化。
Political science has been one of the key disciplines in Japanese academia to promote academic internationalization after entering the 21st century. Based on the statistical analysis of papers published in 20 high-impact political science English journals from 2000 to 2020,it is found that,Japanese scholars have shown a conspicuous sense of presence and activeness,and their degree of international cooperation is even higher than the global average level. The research topics of those papers are significantly broad and not limited to Japan itself. In the fields of quantitative politics and political science methodology,some Japanese scholars have actually become leading scholars in the international academic community. And the very reflection on quantitative methodology constitutes an important dimension of the internationalization process of Japan’s political science research. Therefore,the academic ecology of political science research in Japan has been undergoing a series of positive yet subtle changes with various developments like the creation of indigenous English journals,the advance of international academic exchanges,the diversified development of disciplines,and the strengthening of multilingual integration.
