摘要
机器人末端工具快换装置ATC(Automatic Tool Changer)是指工业机器人末端工具自动快速交换装置。通过使机器人自动更换不同的末端执行器或外围设备,使机器人的应用更具柔性。这些末端执行器和外围设备包含点焊焊枪、抓手、气动和电动马达等。工具快换装置包括一个机器人侧(R侧)用来安装在机器人手臂上,另外一个工具侧(T侧)用来安装在末端执行器上。工具快换装置能够让不同的介质例如气体、电信号、光信号、液体等从机器人手臂连通到末端执行器。在汽车行业柔性焊接生产线中的机器人焊接设备使用的ATC就是指自动更换焊枪的装置,行业通常也称之为“换枪盘”[1]。在柔性制造设备设计阶段,事前熟悉并明确把握相关ATC选型要点,可方便设计人员对常用品牌ATC选型,避免出现选型错误,减少3D设计失误,节省设计成本,降低设计失败风险,提高柔性制造系统中工业机器人ATC设计选型工作效率和质量。
Automatic Tool Changer(Automatic Tool Changer) refers to the automatic and fast tool exchange device at the end of industrial robots.By enabling the robot to automatically replace different end effectors or peripherals,the application of the robot is more flexible.These end effectors and peripherals include spot welding guns,grippers,pneumatic and electric motors,and more.The tool changer consists of a robot side(R side) for mounting on the robot arm and another tool side(T side) for mounting on the end effector.Tool changers allow different media such as gases,electrical signals,optical signals,liquids,etc.to be connected from the robot arm to the end effector.The ATC used in robotic welding equipment in flexible welding production lines in the automotive industry refers to the device for automatic replacement of welding torches,which is commonly referred to in the industry as “gun changing plate”.In the design stage of flexible manufacturing equipment,to be familiar with and clearly grasp the relevant ATC selection points in advance,can facilitate designers to select ATC of commonly used brands,avoid selection errors,reduce 3D design errors,save design costs,reduce the risk of design failure,and improve the efficiency and quality of ATC design and selection of industrial robots in flexible manufacturing systems.
