Regina and Charles Hayes have been living in Shanghai for six years.Four years ago,they stumbled upon this house,just off Xiangyang Nan Lu,and fell in love with it.To reach it,one has to walk down a tight,narrow alley to a traditional Chinese red gate.Inside,an old Shanghainese home awaits.Spanning three floors,the place features plenty of delightful retro fixtures,from rickety wooden floors to classic Chinese furnishings.The couple has brought in their contemporary eye and a love for minimal,clean layouts.
