摘要
【目的】探析高校创办高水平英文科技期刊的现状和路径,为高校特别是地方高校创办英文科技期刊提供一些思路和借鉴。【方法】通过文献调研、网站调研及特约访谈的方法调查高校英文科技期刊发展的现状及面临的关键问题,解析高校英文科技期刊的办刊路径及策略。【结果】高校在创办英文科技期刊时应遵循期刊发展规律,以优势或特色学科为基础确定办刊方向,选择有担当和影响力的主编,组建高水平、国际化的编委会并坚持专家办刊,多措并举解决优质稿源匮乏的问题,方能推进英文科技新刊高质量发展。【结论】高校应抓住中国英文科技期刊快速发展的机遇,依托自身优势、理清办刊思路、抓住关键问题,创办更多高水平英文科技期刊。
[Purposes]This paper aims to explore the status quo and paths of establishing high-level English scientific journals in universities,providing some ideas and references for the universities,especially local colleges and universities,to establish English scientific journals.[Methods]Through literature research,website research,and special interviews,we investigated the status quo and key problems faced by the development of English scientific journals in universities and analyzed the paths of establishing English scientific journals in colleges and universities and their strategies.[Findings]Universities should follow the rules of journal development,determine the direction of the journal based on advantageous or characteristic disciplines,choose a responsible and influential chief editor,form a high-level and international editorial board,insist on journal management relying on experts,and take multiple measures to solve the problem of lack of high-quality manuscripts to promote the high-quality development of new English scientific journals.[Conclusions]Universities should seize the opportunity of rapid development of English scientific journals in China.They can rely on their own advantages,clarify the ideas of journal management,seize the key issues,and establish more high-quality English scientific journals.
