摘要
卫杰的《蚕桑萃编》是清末我国北方蚕农种植桑树的指导手册,其更强调对农民桑树施肥实践的指导。该书总结了明清时期江浙等地的桑树施肥技术,结合我国北方桑园土质、气候,以及北方传统的桑树种植施肥习惯,系统阐述了我国北方传统桑树所施用粪肥的种类、堆制技术,并对各种粪肥粪力及其发挥,桑树管理中施肥技术要点,以及与桑树种植移栽相配套的施肥种类及技术要点进行梳理,形成了较为完整的桑树种植施肥技术体系,为清末我国北方桑树施肥提供了直接的技术指导。
Wei Jie’s Collection of Sericulture was a guide manual for mulberry planting in north China at the end of the Qing Dynasty.It emphasized more on the guidance for farmers to fertilize mulberry trees.In this book,Wei Jie summarized the fertilization techniques of mulberry trees in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces during the Ming and Qing Dynasties,and systematically described the types and composting techniques of manure traditionally used for mulberry trees in north China,with consideration of the soil quality of mulberry gardens,the climate,and the traditional fertilization habits of north China.Meanwhile,the book combed the fecal force and exertion of various manure,the key points of fertilization technology in mulberry management,as well as the manure types and technical points of fertilization for mulberry transplanting,forming a relatively complete technical system of mulberry planting and fertilization,which provided direct technical guidance for mulberry fertilization in north China at the end of the Qing Dynasty.
