Objective:To explore the efficacy of transcutaneous electrical acupoints stimulation in the treatment of limb dysfunction after stroke. Methods:Randomized controlled trials(RCT)on transcutaneous electrical acupoints stimulation in the treatment of limb dysfunction after stroke were searched from CNKI,WanFang Datebase,VIP,the Cochrane Library,PubMed,Web of Science,Foreign Medical Journal Service(FMRS).Two researchers respectively conducted literature screening and data extraction, and conducted Meta-analysis with the help of RevMan 5.4 software.Results:10 randomized controlled trials were included, involving 735 patients. The analysis results showed that the intervention for 4 weeks,6 weeks and 12 weeks could improve the motor function of the limbs of stroke patients[WMD=7.29,95%CI(5.17,9.42),P<0.00001],and had curative effects on the recovery of motor function of upper and lower limbs[WMD=7.29,95%CI(5.17,9.42),P<0.00001].In addition, this intervention also improved the daily living ability of patients[WMD=8.21,95%CI(5.27,11.14),P<0.00001].Conclusion:Current evidence shows that transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation can improve the motor function of limbs after stroke and improve the ability of daily life.
