In the new era, the significance of the traditional functions of the library has been gradually dissolved,and the sense of solemnity has been replaced by the relaxed and open atmosphere, becoming the urban living room. As the continuation of the urban space,new functions such as social, leisure and public activities have been placed in the library building.Ruther architects has built a light, pure and open library with unique design ideas in the Helsinki library project, which fully meets the design requirements.
