The Finnish Pavilion at the Brussels World Expo in 1958and the Lawuga Primary School built in 2015 at Yushu belong to two different eras.Facing completely different needs and environments, the two architects adopted the similar form:continuous folded walls and stepped roofs.By researching the architects’drawings and construction photos, this paper explores the generation logic of the modularity shapes of the two buildings and reveals two different design methods of modularized form and modular construction. This paper further discusses the importance of modular components for construction.
