摘要
造像记是民众信仰情况的记录,作为一种特殊的文本,北朝的造像记有很多关于家族谱系的记载,尤其是以家族或宗族为主体的团体造像,经常可见对造像人祖先世系的回溯,除此以外,其家族成员的婚姻、仕宦以及子孙繁衍等情况,也成为其记录的对象,从而表现出明确的系谱意识。之所以如此,主要是受当时社会上修谱风气的影响。将家谱铭刻于金石,有利于聚合宗亲,强化该家族在社会上的地位,也是佛、道二教与中土固有的祖先崇拜相融合的一个表征。
The inscriptions for the sculptures are records of people’s beliefs. As a special text, there are many records of family pedigrees in the inscriptions for the sculptures in the Northern Dynasties. Especially in the group statues dominated by families or clans, it is common to see the retrospection of the ancestors of donors. In addition, the marriage of family members, officials and the reproduction of descendants also become the objects of record which show a clear sense of genealogy. The reason is mainly due to the influence of the social atmosphere of the ethos of writing a family tree at that time. To engrave the family tree in stone which is conducive to the aggregation of the clan, strengthening the status of the family in the society, and is also a representation of the integration of Buddhism and Taoism with the inherent ancestor worship in the Middle Earth.
