华南地区不同亚型急性髓系白血病患者骨髓细胞BAALC基因表达对疗效及预后的影响

Impact of BAALC gene expression in bone marrow cells on therapeutic efficacy and prognosis in patients with different subtypes of acute myeloid leukemia in southern China

摘要 探讨华南地区不同亚型急性髓系白血病患者骨髓细胞BAALC基因表达对疗效及预后的影响。研究发现, BAALC基因的高表达组复发率远高于低表达组, 死亡率远高于低表达组。其他8种检测基因的高表达组与低表达组的死亡率之间差异无统计学意义。性别是研究病例的保护因素, 男性病例的预后生存率高于女性;BAALC基因表达高低分组变量是研究病例的危险因素, 基因低表达组的预后生存率高于基因高表达组。本研究结果有助于临床工作中为BAALC高表达患者设计个体化治疗方案。 The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of BAALC gene expression in bone marrow cells on therapeutic efficacy and prognosis of patients with different subtypes of acute myeloid leukemia in southern China.The study found that patients with high BAALC expression group had much higher rates of recurrence and mortality than those with low BAALC expression.There was no significant difference in mortality between patients with high expression and low expression of other 8 tested genes.Gender was the protective factor against acute myeloid leukemia.The survival rate as a prognosis was higher in males compared with females.In conclusion,high/low BAALC expression is a risk factor in these patients.Patients with low BAALC expression have higher survival rate as a prognosis than those with high BAALC expression.Our findings would help formulate personalized treatment protocols for patients with high BAALC expression in clinical practice.
