摘要
随着互联网时代语音识别技术的突破和计算机辅助语言学习软件(CALL)的涌现,英语口语练习软件的优势日益凸显,得以弥补大学英语课堂教学中口语能力输出和反馈的不足。文章将基于CALL评估体系,从计算机技术、心理学维度和语言学习维度共22个评价细则对三款典型性口语软件进行评估,同时归纳总结软件在大学英语口语教学中的应用,增加对学生输出项能力的锻炼和监控,引导自主学习。
With technological advance in voice recognition and the emergence of CALL in the Internet era, mobile applications for oral English practice are displaying prominent advantages, making up for the lack of English speaking and its feedback in college English teaching. This essay, based on CALL software evaluation system, incorporates a theory-driven rubric in order to assess three typical English speaking applications from three main aspects including technology, psychology and language learning. The essay also elaborates on the employment of CALL in college English speaking classes to monitor students’ output, creating a more active and effective language learning environment as well as encouraging autonomous learning.
