山西省某预查区本溪组砂岩地层对铝土矿矿床的影响分析 被引量:1

Analysis on the influence of sandstone strata of Benxi Formation on the deposit in bauxite pre-investigation area of Shanxi province

摘要 山西省铝土矿赋存在本溪组一段地层中下部,在省内分布广泛,资源总量位居全国第一。预查工作前期通过在地表零星出露的本溪组地层捡块化验确定区内赋存有铝土矿,然而通过进一步的勘查工作发现区内有40%钻探工程中本溪组地层以砂岩为主,未见铝土矿层。文章通过研究区地质背景、地质特征,结合区内钻探岩芯、薄片鉴定结果,从沉积环境、地层、砂岩特征等方面分析了区内本溪组砂岩地层对铝土矿矿床的影响,探求本溪组地层未见铝土矿层的原因。结果表明:研究区本溪组的沉积环境水动力强、沉积物源来源较远,不利于铝土矿的沉积,导致矿体不连续,找矿效果不及预期。如在铝土矿勘查中出现本溪组地层以砂岩地层为主的情况时应审慎开展进一步的工作,提高勘查资金利用效率。 Bauxite in Shanxi province is widely distributed in the middle and lower part of Benxi Formation,and the total resources rank first in China.In the early stage of the pre-investigation,bauxite is found in the area through the test of Benxi Formation exposed sporadically on the surface.However,it is found that 40%of the drilling projects in the bauxite working area have not seen bauxite layer through subsequent exploration,in contrast sandstone is the main stratum of Benxi Formation.Based on the geological background and geological characteristics,combined with the identification results of drilling cores and thin sections in the area,this paper analyzes the impact of sandstone strata of Benxi Formation on bauxite deposits from the aspects of sedimentary environment,strata and sandstone characteristics,and tries to identify causes for the absence of bauxite layer in the Benxi Formation.The results show that the sedimentary environment of Benxi Formation in the study area has strong hydrodynamic force and far sediment source,which is not conducive to the deposition of bauxite,thus resulting in the discontinuity of ore body and poor prospecting effect in this area.If the formation of Benxi Formation is dominated by sandstone in bauxite exploration,further work should be carried out carefully to improve the utilization efficiency of exploration funds.
