摘要
在近年日益活跃的城市更新背景下,上海外滩“第二立面”涌现出诸多片区与街坊保护更新和街路整治与能级提升项目,在存量最多的老大楼中更是频出保育活化作品,沙美大楼保护利用项目就是其中之一。在全方位提升大楼性能与品质的同时,重点进行整体风貌修复和公共空间激活,让这幢见证近代金融业发展、记录外滩烟火气的老大楼得以重获新生;也让更多的人能够欣赏到这幢大楼内的独特风景。
Under the background of increasingly active urban renewal in recent years,many district and neighbor preservation and renewal projects and street renovation and energy level upgrading projects emerged on the"second facade"of Shanghai Bund.Preservation and revitalization works were frequently put forward in remaining old build-ings in abundance,and the Somekh Building renovation project is one of them.It focused on the overall style and feature rehabilitation and public space revitalization while the performance and quality of the building were com-prehensively improved,so that this old building that had witnessed the development of the modern financial industry and recorded the hustle and bustle of the Bund was reborn,and more people could appreciate the unique scenery within this building.
