摘要
全面抗战爆发后,中华图书馆协会虽然面临着会员阻隔多地、组织力减弱,会费收入减少、生存发展受限等困难,但通过吸收新会员、举行会员联谊会、多渠道筹集经费等措施应对困局,并在图书馆职业介绍、协助藏书楼出版图书、慰问被炸图书馆学校和图书馆、给会员争取购书优惠、呈请恢复国立西北图书馆、建议分区设立国立图书馆等方面为战时和战后中国图书馆事业的恢复与发展做出了贡献。
The Library Association of China is faced with problems after the War of Resistance against Japan,including the isolation of members,the weakening of association’s organizational strength,the reduction of membership fee,the limited survival and development.However,the Library Association of China attracts new members,holds a membership meeting and raises funds through multiple channels to deal with difficulties.And it contributes to the recovery and development of the Chinese librarianship during and after the war by introducing careers for librarians,assisting in publishing precious books,consoling the bombed library science education school and library,obtaining discounts for members to purchase books,petitioning for the restoration of National Northwest Library,and proposing to establish the National Library branch in different districts.
