摘要
创新是中国经济高质量发展的关键驱动力,也是摆脱全球价值链“低端锁定”困局的重要突破口。在构建以“国内大循环”为主体的双循环新发展格局的背景下,本文从国内生产链视角切入,结合2000—2015年世界投入产出数据库、中国工业企业数据库和专利数据库,使用Heckman两步估计法考察制造业国内生产链延伸发展对企业创新的影响。研究表明,通过“成本削减效应”“融资约束纾解效应”“资源配置优化效应”和“产业集聚效应”,国内生产链延伸发展不仅能够增强企业创新意愿,还能增加企业创新产出数量和提升创新产出质量。分组检验发现,其对大规模企业和低开放度地区企业创新的促进效应显著强于小规模企业和高开放度地区企业。同时,拓展性分析表明,市场交易成本和企业上游度对国内生产链与企业创新之间的关系具有负向调节效应。本研究既拓展了生产链与企业创新的交叉研究,又为更好地实现国内生产链发展对企业创新的促进作用,以支持经济高质量发展提供实证依据。
As a key driver of China’s high-quality economic development,innovation is an important breakthrough point for escaping from the“low-end locking”of global value chains.Under the background of constructing a new“dual circulation”development pattern with“domestic economic circulation”as the leading part,from the perspective of domestic production chain,based on the world input-output database,Chinese industrial enterprise database and patent database from 2000 to 2015,this paper employs the Heckman two-step estimation method to investigate the impact of the extension of domestic production chain on corporate innovation in manufacturing industry.The results show that the extension of domestic production chain not only increases enterprises’willingness to innovate,but also improves the quantity and quality of enterprises’innovative output through“cost reduction effect”“financing constraint mitigation effect”“resource allocation optimization effect”and“industrial agglomeration effect”.The heterogeneity tests find that the positive effect on innovation of large-scale enterprises and enterprises in areas with a low degree of openness is significantly stronger than that on small-scale enterprises and enterprises in areas with a high degree of openness.Furthermore,the extended analysis shows that market transaction costs and upstream degree negatively moderate the relationship between domestic production chain and corporate innovation.This study expands the cross-research on production chain and corporate innovation,and provides theoretical and practical support for better achieving the promoting effect of domestic production chain development on corporate innovation,sustaining high-quality economic development and breaking through the“low-end locking”.
