摘要
林白的《北流》是一部书写新时期乡村巨变、重新反思城乡关系的返乡叙事小说。具有长期城市生活经验的知识分子李跃豆返回家乡北流,以“在场”姿态观察和记录着家乡亲友如今在物质上的富足、精神上的先进。在城市/乡村双重身份的内在精神架构之外,林白借助具体可感的北流方言/普通话的双重话语叙事搭建起了文本的外部架构,呈现了乡民剪不断的内在情感联系,也让饱含质朴乡土气息的北流方言焕发出生机。林白以重回当下乡村的叙事,召唤着更多人重返乡村、重构乡村,重新思考乡村在时代剧烈变动中的处境与未来。
Lin Bai’s Beiliu is a homecoming narrative novel that describes the great changes in the countryside in the new era and reconsiders the relationship between urban and rural areas. Li Yuedou,an intellectual with long-term urban life experience,returned to her hometown Beiliu,observing and recording the material affluence and spiritual advancement of her friends and relatives in her hometown with the attitude of“presence”. In addition to the inner spiritual structure of the dual urban/rural identity,Lin Bai builds the external structure of the text with the concrete and perceptible Beiliu dialect/Mandarin dual discourse narrative,showing the constant inner emotional connection of the villagers,and also making the Beiliu dialect full of rustic flavor come back to life. With the narrative of returning to the current countryside,Lin Bai calls on more people to return to the countryside,reconstruct the countryside,and rethink the situation and future of the countryside in the midst of dramatic changes in times.
