摘要
19世纪末,英商福公司裹挟着工业革命的成果进入焦作开始经营周边的煤矿。与此同时,机械化生产、现代化管理、近代交通和教育等西方工业文明强制植入焦作矿区,当地规模较大的土窑经营者被迫组成中原煤矿公司,模仿英商福公司的生产运作方式,开矿、筑路、办教育,开创了焦作民族资本成功举办近代工业的先河。福公司和中原公司同时在焦作矿区经营煤业,深刻改变了焦作地区千百年来传统村落的发展节奏。焦作地区原有的空间布局、经济格局、社会结构、民众意识等等都在发生着变化。截至1938年,中福公司因抗战而南迁,焦作已在近代工业文明的影响下初步完成了传统向现代的转型。
At the end of 19th century, Peking Syndicate took the achievements of the industrial revolution into Jiaozuo and began to operate the surrounding coal mines. At the same time, western industrial civilization such as mechanized production, modern management, modern transportation and education were forcibly implanted in Jiaozuo mining area. Local large-scale kiln operators were forced to form Zhongyuan Coal Mine Company, imitate the production and management mode from Peking Syndicate, open mines, build roads and run education, which set a precedent for Jiaozuo national capital to successfully host modern industry.Peking Syndicate and Zhongyuan Company operated the coal industry in Jiaozuo mining area at the same time, which profoundly changed the development rhythm of traditional villages in Jiaozuo area for thousands of years. The original spatial layout, economic pattern, social structure and public consciousness of Jiaozuo area ware changed. By 1938, Zhongfu Company had moved southward due to the Anti-Japanese War, and Jiaozuo had initially completed the transformation from tradition to modernity under the influence of modern industrial civilization.
