Objective To study the application value of the multidisciplinary team(MDT)nursing intervention model in improving the postoperative quality of life of colon cancer patients. Methods A total of 58 cases of postoperative female patients with colon cancer treated in the First Hospital Affiliated of University of Science and Technology of China from January 2019 to December 2021 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into the observation group(29 cases)and the control group(29 cases). The control group was given conventional postoperative intervention method, and the observation group was given MDT nursing intervention method. The postoperative complication rate, quality of life and postoperative recovery time were compared between the two groups. Results The postoperative complication rates of female patients in the observation group and the control group were 0.00%and 20.70%,respectively,the postoperative quality of life score and postoperative recovery time in the observation group were better than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion MDT nursing intervention model has outstanding application value in improving postoperative quality of life of colon cancer patients, which can not only ensure postoperative safety, but also accelerate the discharge time of patients.
