摘要
Tibetan ice cores have been widely used since 1980s to reconstruct past climatic and environmental conditions at different timescales.However,the reliability of such information depends on the crucial step of establishing an accurate chronology for these ice cores.This is particularly challenging for Tibetan ice cores,due to rapid thinning and complex boundary conditions of the mountainous glaciers,leading to much uncertainty in paleoreconstructions.
