摘要
对高普朗特数流体在圆柱坐标下的自然对流问题进行数值模拟研究。采用有限容积法、精密网格划分以及多重网格算法来保证计算的精度与速度。研究中设普朗特数为1000,对不同瑞利数下圆柱坐标自然对流问题的温度场、速度矢量场、流函数场以及努塞尔数的分布进行精确求解。对比不同瑞利数下的计算结果,分析瑞利数对高普朗特数流体在圆柱坐标下自然对流传热与流动的影响。
The materials involved in petroleum industry are characterized by high Prandtl number(Pr).During the storage of petroleum products,natural convection exists in the process,which is a basic and classic problem that has to be studied deeply before further investigation of more complex problems.For high-Pr fluids,the natural convection problem in a cylindrical coordinate system is numerically simulated.Numerical simulation is performed with a finite volume method and multigrid procedure,which enable accurate and efficient computations.The calculation is based on a fine enough grid system.By using data reported in a classical literature,the numerical simulation method is verified,showing that the numerical results are accurate,and that the present numerical calculation method is feasible.Then the temperature field,velocity field,stream function field and Nusselt number(Nu)distribution of natural convection in a cylindrical coordinate are calculated for Pr=1000 and different Rayleigh number(Ra).The temperature profiles and velocity profiles along the central lines of the domain are plotted.At different Ra,due to the natural convection,the hot fluid near the inner cylinder flows to the upper region,while the cold fluid near the outer cylinder flows downward,forming clockwise flow in the cylinder.As Ra increases,the natural convection intensifies,leading to increasing velocity in the whole region,and the stratified temperature distribution in the domain from up to down becomes more obvious.A primary vortex is observed from the stream function distribution at each Ra,with the center of the primary vortex moving upward towards the outer cylinder.Meanwhile,the maximum stream function increases with increasing Ra.Nusselt number on the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder becomes larger with higher Ra,also showing stronger heat convection as Ra increases.
