This paper overview of the definition of PFMEA and its five key parameters(Severity、Occurance、Detection、RPN、Risk Prior.Level),and through the four steps(new product input,PFMEA preparation,risk assessment and implementation measures,PFMEA output)introduces the PFMEA application in manufacture quality improvement process of new engine products detailedly,reducing the quality risk eff ectively and improving the manufacture quality of the product through preventive measures.
