The paper recalls that in the process of editing and publishing the book A Brief History of Modern Popular Novels in China,the authors,translators and editors kept lots of correspondence and discussion,which reflects the serious academic attitude and editorial attitude of the concerning parties.The paper also covers the design of the book.The cover design is simple.The back of the book is bound with bare ridge thread,and this gives quite a nostalgic look of a thread-bound book.
