This paper is to aggregate road energy collection technologies for different applications, including photovoltaic cells, geothermal,thermoelectric, and piezoelectric systems, studies each energy collection technique was thoroughly, including working principles, application examples, and technology development, and puts forward relevant suggestions for future studies on energy collection.
