摘要
对于乡村青少年来说,“上网”的意义是什么?借用布尔迪厄的“资本”概念,本研究发现:与全国未成年人互联网使用数据相比,乡村青少年的数字资本水平仍有提升空间;“上网”能够为乡村青少年带来正面影响,借助移动通讯设备和互联网,他们得以维系与父母亲朋的“强关系”,也能够建立更多工具性的“弱关系”,积累更多社会资源;以网上社会互动倾向为代表的非结构性因素调节了数字资本对社会资本和主观幸福感的正向预测作用。对于乡村青少年群体来说,他们可以通过增加线上社会互动来享有更多数字技术使用的益处,这也是乡村青少年群体“上网”的意义。
For rural youth, what is the meaning of "Being Online" ? Drawing on the Bourdieusian framework of "capital", this study examined the impact of ICT access and use on rural youth by means of survey(N=7,556). The study found that(1) compared with the national data, the digital capital of rural youth still needs to improve;(2) "Being online" brings positive effects to rural youth. With mobile communication devices and the Internet, they can maintain "strong ties" with their parents and friends, and establish instrumental "weak ties" to accumulate more social resources, which altogether brings a higher level of subjective well-being;(3) This study found that non-structural factors, for instance, the preference for online social interaction, have a moderating effect on the positive relationship among digital capital, social capital and subjective well-being. For the rural youth, even if their digital capital is limited, they can still enjoy the social benefits of digital technology by increasing online social interactions, which is also the meaning of "Being Online".
