如何培育工科学生的人文素养——基于欧林工学院的考察 被引量:3

摘要 人文素养是新工科人才培养的重要内容,欧林工学院在工科学生人文素养培育方面积累了很多可供参考的教育经验。学院以课程赋能、环境陶染和实践磨砺为三条主要路径,从知识积累、精神养成和行为习得方面促进学生人文素养的形成。通过对相关教育内容进行梳理,总结出了欧林工学院工科学生人文素养培育的“C—E—P”方案。该方案具有培育形式多样化、培育主体多元化和培育效能持续化的特点,为欧林工学院赢得了良好的学校声誉,为社会培养了大批具有人文素养的工科人才。“C—E—P”方案的设计、实施与评估对我国工科学生人文素养的培育具有重要借鉴意义。 Humanistic literacy is an essential part of the cultivation of emerging engineering talents.Olin College of Engineering has accumulated a wealth of experience on the cultivation of humanistic literacy for engineering majors.Taking three main paths of Course,Environment and Practice,the college promotes the formation of students’humanistic literacy from the aspects of knowledge accumulation,spiritual development and behavior acquisition.Through analysis of relevant educational content,a“C-E-P”program can be summarized for the cultivation of humanistic literacy of engineering majors in the college.Featuring diversified cultivation forms,multiple cultivation subjects,and continuous cultivation efficiency,the program has won a good reputation for Olin College of Engineering and delivered a large number of engineering talents with high humanistic literacy for the society.The design,implementation and evaluation of the“C-E-P”program provide a reference for the cultivation of humanistic literacy of engineering majors in China.
