摘要
美国高等教育近年来出现了能力本位教育(CBE)再复兴的信号。从动因看,美国教育的需求缺口和教育的可支付性、问责制等是本次复兴的主要动力;从意图看,CBE旨在促进社会阶层流动,巩固脆弱的中产阶级群体;从发展阶段看,CBE的复兴尚在初期,新的教学范式亦未形成,其可持续发展有赖于学习评价的严苛度及与社会需求关联的紧密性。同时还应看到,CBE的复兴必然赋能开放教育,以形成更加丰富多元、充满活力的高等教育生态,这对进入高等教育普及阶段的中国高等教育具有重要的借鉴价值。
In recent years,American higher education is showing the sign of the revival of competency-based education.From the perspective of motivation,internal and external disturbances in American society as well as affordability and accountability of education are the main driving forces of this revival.From the perspective of intention,CBE aims to promote social mobility and consolidates the vulnerable middle class in US.From the perspective of its development,CBE is still in its infancy,and a new teaching paradigm has not yet been formed.Its sustainable development depends on the rigorous evaluation of learning and the tightness of the relationship between social needs and learning objectives.At the same time,we can see that the revival of CBE will endow Open Education definitely,to establish a more diverse and vibrant higher education ecology,which is an important reference for China’s higher education entering the stage of popularization.
