摘要
本文使用第三代海浪模式SWAN(Simulating Waves Nearshore)对波弗特-楚科奇海1996—2016年9、10月份海浪进行了数值计算,并将部分计算所得有效波高与漂流浮标的现场观测数据进行了对比检验。基于模式追算的结果,本文对该海域9、10月份极值波高的变化特征进行了研究,并依据PearsonⅢ型分布开展了不同典型重现期波高的推算与分析。结果显示,波弗特海年极值波高的增长率为0.1~0.2 m/a,而楚科奇海年极值波高的变化率并不显著;波弗特-楚科奇海中部大部分海域20年一遇的有效波高在6.4 m左右,50年一遇的有效波高在7.3 m左右;近岸重现期分别为20和50年的有效波高介于3.0~4.5 m之间。进一步分析发现,海冰覆盖面积与极值风速的变化对该海域极值波候的变化均有显著影响。该研究结果可为该海域海上活动的安全保障,船只航行的线路选择等提供参考依据。
In this paper,the third generation wave model SWAN is used to hindcast the waves in the Beaufort-Chukchi Sea in September and October from 1996 to 2016.A part of the simulated significant wave height is verified by the in situ measurements.Based on the results of numerical simulation,the characteristics of the extreme significant wave height in September and October are discussed in detail,and the significant wave heights in different return-period are calculated according to PearsonⅢdistribution as well.The results show that the growth rate of annual extreme significant wave height in the Beaufort Sea is 0.1~0.2 m/a,while it is insignificant in the Chukchi Sea;The significant wave heights in the central part of the Beaufort-Chukchi Sea are about 6.4 and 7.3 m for a 20-year and 50-year return-period,respectively.The significant wave heights nearshore in 20 year and 50 year return-period are ranging from 3.0~4.5 m.Further analysis show that the extreme wave climate in the Beaufort-Chukchi Sea is influenced by the variations both in the sea ice concentration and extreme wind speed.The results in this study can provide a reference for the safety of marine activities and the selection of shipping routes in the Beaufort-Chukchi Sea.
