摘要
潜龙类是辽宁热河生物群最具代表性的四足动物化石之一。尽管此前已有数项针对潜龙的研究,但白台沟潜龙的颅内细节仍有待丰富。为进一步探究该物种解剖学特征,本文描述了两件产自辽宁省锦州市义县头台乡和头道河乡的潜龙标本:CYSZ-R-202001和CYSZ-R-202002,对化石的骨骼特征进行观察后厘定为白台沟潜龙,并对白台沟潜龙颅骨腹面及上颚的性状,尤其是方骨特征进行了补充。此外,文中描述了两件标本保存的软组织痕迹,并与凌源潜龙及其他离龙类进行了对比。对白台沟潜龙新标本的描述有利于进一步了解这一物种与其他离龙类的区别,并为推测其个体发育及习性提供更多信息。
Hyphalosaurus is one of the most abundant tetrapod fossils from the Jehol Biota of Liaoning Province. Although several studies have been approved on Hyphalosarus baitaigouensis, the intracranial details of this species are still insufficient. To further explore the anatomical information of H. baitaigouensis, we described two new specimens(CYSZ-R-202001 and CYSZ-R-202002) from Toutai Village and Toudaohe Village, Yixian County, Liaoning Province. Several new characteristics of the intracranial of H. baitaigouensis, particularly the details of the quadrate are mentioned here. The preservation of soft tissues in the two specimens is compared with H. lingyuanensis and other Choristodera. The new specimens of H. baitaigouensis may help to understand differences in skull morphology among Choristodera. Meanwhile, our study provides more information on the ontogeny of H. baitaigouensis.
