Eyes staring into the camera,colorful headdresses and robes-for over a century,photos of Chinese ethnic groups have mostly followed this template.Several young photographers of Tibetan,Zhuang,and other ethnicities,are challenging this narrative with works that reflect their communities in the modern day.
