摘要
在新的国际形势下,我国急需下大力加强国际传播能力建设。其中,外宣翻译起到举足轻重的作用,不准确的译文会引起外文受众的困惑,达不到预期的传播效果,反而可能导致曲解,甚至损害对外形象。国际传播活动中的翻译是一场“异化”与“归化”的博弈,根据外事文书的文本功能不同,需采用不一样的翻译策略,有时要保留中文特色以做到文化推介,有时要尽量变化使受众更易接受。译者应在充分了解中英语言、文化、思维差异的基础上,做到理解到位、灵活传译。高校作为活跃的国际交流平台,应利用自身优势为开展国际传播工作提供学理支撑,并集结优秀青年力量组建国际传播队伍。
In the new international situation,China urgently needs to vigorously strengthen the construction of international communication capacity.Among them,publicity translation plays an important role.Inaccurate translation will cause confusion of foreign audiences and fail to achieve the expected communication effect.On the contrary,it may lead to misinterpretation and even damage the external image.Translation in international communication activities is a game of alienation and domestication.According to the different text functions of foreign affairs documents,different translation strategies need to be adopted.Sometimes Chinese characteristics should be retained to achieve cultural promotion,and sometimes it should be changed as much as possible to make it more acceptable to the audience.On the basis of fully understanding the differences between Chinese and English language,culture and thinking,the translator should understand in place and interpret flexibly.As an active international exchange platform,colleges and universities should make use of their own advantages to provide academic support for international communication,and gather outstanding young people to form an international communication team.
