摘要
良好英语语言环境对于海南自贸港文化建设意义重大。该文以语言服务为视角,从汉英公示语和窗口人员英语语言服务两个层面,梳理和调查了海南“国际旅游岛”建设方案出台至今三亚英语语言环境建设的历程、现状,针对三亚部分公共场所英语标识语依然错误繁多、窗口工作人员语言服务和跨文化交际能力欠缺的实际情况,从重视公共场所汉英标识语建设、统一规范的实施和长效监督机制的确立、复合型人才引进和窗口单位工作人员英语文化素养的提升等方面提出了建议,以进一步提升自贸港英语语言环境建设和语言文化环境。
The good English language environment is significant to the cultural construction of Hainan Free Trade Port.From the perspective of language service,this paper,on the basis of two aspects of Chinese-English public signs and window staff's English language service,has sorted out and investigated the process and current situation of English language environment construction in Sanya since the unveiling of the policy of International Tourism Island.In response to the numerous errors of English public signs in some public places of Sanya and the staff's lack of language service ability as well as intercultural communication skills,suggestions are put forward on the following aspects such as attaching importance to Chinese-English signs in public places,establishing unified standards and the longterm supervision mechanism,enrolling interdisciplinary talents and the improvement of the English cultural literacy of the staff in the window units,so as to further improve the construction of the English language environment and the cultural environment in the free trade port.
