摘要
Chimarrhichthys属系Sauvage于1874年建立,模式种是Chimarrhichthys davidi Sauvage,根据7个模式标本,采自“西藏东部的Yao-Tchy”。同年O’Shaughnessy指出这个属级名称已经被优先占用。于是,Regan于1907年首先建议改用Euchiloglanis。自此以后七十余年来,不同作者对包括Euchiloqlanis在内的鳗跳鱼类做过四次比较系统的整理,其中除Hora(1923)早期的工作把Euchiloglanis归入Glyptosternum外,其余作者包括Hora晚期的工作在内,都确认Euchiloglanis属的存在(Norman 1925.
By examining the type specimens,it is certain that the upper tooth bandof Euchiloglanis davidi(Sauvage)is produced backwards on each side insteadof being misconceived hitherto as not produced backwardly.Of course thischaracter must be the attribute of the genus Euchiloglanis at the same time.Because Coraglanis shares the same diagnostic character with Euchiloglanis,itis evident that Coraglanis is,in fact,a synonym of Euchiloglanis.
