Bridge infrastructure is an important hub for national economic development and exchanges.Rapid and accurate health monitoring, and safety assessment of bridges is the guarantee to ensure the sustainable and safe development of economic construction. The Internet of Things connects items with the Internet through various information sensor devices to exchange and communicate information,so as to realize intelligent identification, positioning, tracking, monitoring and management. It has been widely used in urban engineering construction. This study takes HaiYin Bridge in Guangzhou as the engineering background, establishes a bridge health and early warning cloud platform based on Internet of Things technology, and realizes the networking of bridge online health monitoring system. The results demonstrated that the bridge health monitoring system based on the Internet of Things can quickly and accurately monitor and warn the health of bridges, which not only solves the problems that the traditional monitoring equipment cannot obtain data remotely, analyze and query difficulties, but also realizes the remote management of cloud, greatly improves the management efficiency and reduces the operation cost. This study provides a useful reference for subsequent similar projects.
