Key Cultivation Technologies for Durian Saplings

摘要 榴莲(Durio zibethinus Murr.)是锦葵目、木棉科高大热带常绿乔木,原产马来群岛,为当地最著名的水果,有“万果之王”的美誉。近年来,海南开始商业化种植榴莲,目前面积约2000hm^(2)。然而,榴莲幼树生长对环境条件、肥水管理等要求非常高,管理不当会造成大面积僵苗甚至死苗,严重威胁产业发展。根据海南榴莲种植调研结果,从品种选择、选地整地、种植模式、肥水管理、病虫害防控等方面研探榴莲幼树关键栽培管理技术,以期对产业发展提供技术支持。 Durian(Durio zibethinus Murr.),belonging to Bombacaceae of Malvales,is a tall tropical evergreen tree which is native to the Malay Islands.And it is well known as"the king of all fruits".Durian commercial cultivation was developed in Hainan Province in recent years and and the planting area is up to 2000 hm^(2) presently.However,requirements of environmental conditions,management of water and fertilizers for durian sapling cultivation are very strict.Improper management would always cause a high rate of stunted saplings or even dead saplings,which seriously threatens development of durian industry.Based on the investigation results of durian cultivation in Hainan,the key cultivation and management technique system for durian saplings including variety selection,orchard selection and preparation,planting mode,management of water and fertirizers and pest control were proposed in this paper.And it might provide technical supports for the industry development.
