摘要
20世纪上半叶引发众多知识界人士投身参与的乡村建设运动,不仅是乡村社会落后破败的现实促成,也是知识界对乡村重要性和社会复兴基础认知的结果。它领域广泛、方式多样、时间持久,影响深远。中国基督教会也积极参与其中,以《田家半月刊》最具代表性。它通过尽可能浅显的文字刊物传播现代农业农村知识,以普及现代科学和社会知识为主张,塑造新型乡村社会和乡村农人,达到乡村重建和改造的目的。辗转半个中国、长达23年的刊物成为乡村建设运动持续时间最长的实践见证,与今天中国社会的乡村振兴在理念上和实践上都有某种相似性和先验性。
In the first half of the 20th century,many intellectuals participated in the rural construction movement,which was not only facilitated by the backward and dilapidated rural society,but also the result of the knowledge of the importance of rural areas and the basic cognition of social revival.It has a wide range of fields,diverse ways,lasting time and far-reaching influence.Christian churches in China were also actively involved,with Tianjia Semi-Monthly being the most representative.It disseminated modern agricultural and rural knowledge through plain written publications as far as possible,took the popularization of modern scientific and social knowledge as the idea,shaped the new rural society and rural farmers,so as to achieve the goal of rural reconstruction and transformation.The publication,which has traveled half of China for 23 years,becomes the longest lasting practical witness of the rural construction movement.It has some similarity and apriority in the concept and practice of rural revitalization in today’s Chinese society.
