利用FOCMEC和CAP方法反演2021年大丰海域M5.0及天宁M4.2地震震源机制解 被引量:3

Inversion for the Focal Mechanisms of the 2021 Dafeng Sea M5.0 Earthquake and Tianning M4.2 Earthquake Using FOCMEC and CAP Methods

摘要 利用FOCMEC和CAP方法分别对大丰海域M5.0地震、天宁M4.2地震震源机制解进行反演,分析两种方法所得结果的差异。大丰海域M5.0地震FOCMEC方法与CAP方法计算震源机制解结果存在细微差异,CAP方法所得结果与其它机构结果较为统一。天宁M4.2地震FOCMEC方法与CAP方法计算震源机制解结果基本一致。通过研究发现CAP方法对台站分布要求不高,但需要地震震级较大,波形信噪比高,震相拟合度较好;FOCMEC方法对地震震级要求不高,但需要震中位置被台站包围较好,且震中附近台站密度较高,P波初动清晰。 The FOCMEC and CAP methods were used to invert the focal mechanism solutions of the2021 Dafeng Sea M5.0 earthquake and Tianning M4.2 earthquake,respectively. The discrepancy between the outcomes by the two methods was analyzed. It was thus found that there is a subtle discrepancy between the outcomes of the focal mechanism of the M5.0 earthquake in Da Feng sea area by the FOCMEC method and the CAP method,in which the CAP method generates a more consistent outcome with other institutes. The FOCMEC method and CAP method are basically consistent in calculating focal mechanism solutions of the Tianning M4.2 earthquake. By comparing the epicenter and station location of the two earthquakes,it can be seen that the CAP method does not have high requirements for station distribution,but needs a large earthquake magnitude,a high signal-to-noise ratio of waveform,and a good seismic phase fitting degree. Although the FOCMEC method does not have high requirements for earthquake magnitude,it needs an epicenter well surrounded by stations,a high density of stations near the epicenter,and a clear first P motion.
