摘要
西汉司马相如《上林赋》在中国历史上首次述及槟榔,成为关于槟榔最早的文献记载,明清时期则出现了专门描写槟榔的辞赋作品。从一个侧面印证了槟榔在中国悠久的栽培历史及文化内涵。而槟榔赋所涉及的地区均为槟榔产区,处在一个涵盖中国华南、华东、西南地区以及东南亚、南亚诸国,跨太平洋、印度洋等地的槟榔文化带上。槟榔赋也因此兼具文学与文化双重属性,具有浓郁的地域文化特色。
Sima Xiangru’s Shanglin Fu in the Western Han Dynasty mentioned areca for the first time in Chinese history, which became the earliest record in literature about areca. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were Ci and Fu works that specifically focused on areca, which confirms the long cultivation history and cultural connotation of areca in China. The areas involved in Areca Fu are all areca nut producing areas, which is an areca cultural belt across the Pacific and Indian Ocean covering South China, East China and Southwest China, and the countries in Southeast Asia and South Asia. Therefore, Areca Fu has the both literary and cultural attributes, manifesting strong regional cultural features.
