摘要
梳理玛格丽特·阿特伍德的系列小说发现,创伤是其中一个不可忽视的重要母题。总体而言,生态创伤和疾病创伤是作品中最主要的两种创伤类型。在阿特伍德看来,日益严峻的生态环境问题源自人类的贪欲和破坏生态的行为,故人类应该融入自然、善待动物。与此同时,阿特伍德十分关注各种疾病创伤主题,认为人类与疾病的共存是难以改变的客观事实,劝导人们以一种积极的心态去面对疾病。尽管存在着局限性,阿特伍德对待创伤的态度仍具有重要的现实启示意义。
Combing through Margaret Atwood′ s novels has found that it is easy for us to find that trauma is one of the important motifs that cannot be ignored. In general, the trauma themes in Atwood ′ s novels can be divided into two types: ecological trauma and disease trauma. In Atwood′ s viewpoint, the increasingly severe ecological and environmental problems stem from human greed and ecological destruction, and human beings should integrate into nature and treat animals kindly. Furthermore, Atwood pays attention to themes related to diseases. She believes that the coexistence of human beings and diseases is an objective fact that cannot be changed, so she persuades people to face diseases with a positive attitude. Despite its limitations, Atwood ′ s approach to trauma has important practical implications.
