“隔帐陈述千古事,灯下挥舞鼓乐声。”这是对华阴老腔皮影戏精彩演绎的写照。随着时代发展,经过“三变”“三转”“三创”,华阴老腔从家族戏变为大众戏,从幕后戏变为台前戏,从描写古代宫廷斗争和军事征战为主到赋予时代内涵和现代表达形式,上央视、渡重洋、下基层,以关西大汉咏唱大河东去之慨,向世界展示黄土高坡上“最早的摇滚”。其主动求变、勇于敢变、善于应变的艺术品质反映出中华优秀传统文化顽强的生命力、强大的包容性和非凡的创新力。
“Telling age-old tales behind curtain, playing the drums by lamplight.” The verse portrays the brilliant performance of Huayin Laoqiang Opera. Over the years, seeing “three changes”,“three transformations” and “three innovations” in its evolution,Huayin Laoqiang has become a genre of popular drama from the family play,a play on the stage from behind the curtains. Traditionally consisting of tales about palace struggles and military battles in ancient China, the operas keep pace with the times and incorporate contemporary expressions and forms to present the chanties of Guanxi fellows,sighing about river going eastward.Airing on CCTV, spreading overseas, playing at tourist attractions and residential communities, Huayin Laoqiang demonstrates the “earliest Rock & Roll” on the Loess Plateau to the world. With the artistic qualities of taking the initiative to seek changes,daring to change and adeptly responding to changes,it embodies the strong vitality,great inclusiveness and extraordinary innovation of fine traditional Chinese culture.
