摘要
该文从述学文体和言说姿态的角度观照章太炎的《文学总略》,亦由此窥探章氏述学文的整体样貌。章氏在此文中借由“以文字为准”,规定了“文”的体系结构、判断标准、主体诉求等,完成了对“文”的总览和建构。从文体角度看,章氏的述学文有两个重要特征:一是兼有质实和韵味;二是将各种材料与自家论述有机结合,使之融贯成一整体。从言说姿态的角度看,《文学总略》显示了章氏的“大主体性”,这种大主体性又有现代性、民族性和历史性等内在属性;此外,《文学总略》还暗含一种审美性,指向章氏对传统文人士大夫表述方式的隐性追怀,构成对大主体性的参差比照。
This essay studies Zhang Taiyan’s A Brief General Account of Literature from the perspective of academic writing style and speech posture, and also tries to figure out the whole features of Zhang’s academic writing. In this book, Zhang defines the systematic structure, judging criteria and subjective demands of “wen” by “standardizing Chinese characters”, completing the overview of “wen”.From the perspective of style, Zhang’s academic writing has two important characteristics: first, it is both plain and charming;second,it organically combines various materials with Zhang’s own arguments, making them coherent as a whole. From the perspective of speech posture, the text shows Zhang’s great subjectivity, including its modern, national and historical dimensions. In addition, the text also implies an aesthetic dimension, which suggests Zhang’s implicit nostalgia for the expression of traditional literati and officialdom,serving as a contrast to his great subjectivity.
