In order to understand the contamination of Listeria monocytogenes in some ready to eat foods and its sensitivity to antimicrobials in Alar city,360 cooked meat products, raw vegetables, salads, desserts and other ready to eat foods from supermarkets, farmers'markets and restaurants in Alar city were collected by random sampling.Listeria monocytogenes was isolated, cultured, identified and tested for pathogenicity in mice according to the qualitative detection method of GB/T 4789.30-2016,and the round paper diffusion method(K-B method)was used. The drug sensitivities of 11 antimicrobials were tested. The results showed that the total detection rate of Listeria monocytogenes was 6.39%,the highest detection rate in restaurants was 8.33%,and the pollution of cooked meat products was the most serious,8.89%;Mouse infection test showed that the isolates were pathogenic; The total resistance rate of 23 strains to 11 antimicrobials was 21.7%,the highest resistance rate of chloramphenicol and tetracycline was 8.7%,and they were sensitive to cefoxitin, cefotaxin, clindamycin, erythromycin, penicillin and rifampicin. The research showed that some ready to eat foods in Alar city are contaminated by Listeria monocytogenes, and the isolates have pathogenicity and different drug resistance.
