摘要
山西寿阳方言属于晋语并州片。寿阳话的语气副词“先”可以出现在主谓间、连谓结构的第二个谓语前、复句间,表达加强否定和申辩口气。文章认为“先”是由“先说”言说义的弱化脱落而来的。
The modal adverb [??■]先 in Shouyang dialect in Shanxi province,a dialect of Bingzhou cluster of Jin group,found to occur between subject and predicate,preceding the second predicate in a serial verb construction,or between clauses in a complex sentence,is an indicator of intensified negation or of the mood of pleading.This paper argues that [??■]先 originates from ■先说,from which the verb of saying have been weakening and falling off.
