摘要
陈仅《竹荟》是我国古代成书最晚、涉及产竹区最全、引用文献最丰富的一部传统竹谱。因其是未刊稿本,流传极少,长期以来未曾引起学术界关注。然而这并不影响其本身所具有的较高科学史价值,谱作者在考证竹子名实、纠正前人讹误、记载各地竹种及其生物学特性等方面做了较为细致的工作,对后人研究中国古代竹子的地理分布及其变迁具有重要的参考价值。《竹荟》还包含产竹区对竹子加工、利用方面的大量内容,这在提倡绿色、环保的今天,为人们开发利用竹子也有启示作用。
The Bamboo Manual by Chen Jin is a traditional record of bamboos in ancient China,with the latest fulfilling time,widest bamboo regions and the most abundant documents cited in the book.Due to the rarity of its versions,it has been neglected by the academic circles for a long time but its value in scientific history should not be underestimated.The author did a meticulous job on identifying the bamboo names,correcting the mistakes by the former authors and recording the biological characters of bamboos in different areas,which could be a great reference to future research on the distribution and shift of bamboos in ancient China.The book also deals with the processing and application of bamboos in the bamboo-producing regions,enlightening us about green usage of bamboos in the eco-friendly world in the future.
