摘要
研究不同生境下同一植物物种的功能性状差异是由其性状可塑性还是由其遗传变异所致,有利于对该种植物的生境适应性和遗传进化的深入了解。在河滩上和在潮滩上生长的芦苇(Phragmites australis)种群都是黄河三角洲重要的芦苇种群。调查和比较了自然条件下在黄河三角洲河滩与潮滩上生长的芦苇的生境条件和功能性状;通过两年的同质园实验,比较了在黄河三角洲河滩上与潮滩上生长的芦苇的9个功能性状的差异。研究结果表明,在野外自然条件下,潮滩土壤中的盐、全碳、全氮和全硫含量大于河滩土壤,在河滩上生长的芦苇的株高、叶片数和密度都大于在潮滩上生长的芦苇,而在潮滩上生长的芦苇的基径、叶片宽度和叶片中全碳、全氮、全硫含量则都大于在河滩上生长的芦苇;在同质园实验条件下,在河滩和潮滩上生长的芦苇的基径、株高、密度、叶片数、叶片长度、叶片宽度、叶片中的全硫含量总体上无显著差异,在河滩上生长的芦苇叶片中的全氮含量大于在潮滩上生长的芦苇,在潮滩上生长的芦苇叶片中的全碳含量大于在河滩上生长的芦苇。因此,目前在黄河三角洲河滩和潮滩上生长的芦苇多数功能性状的差异是对生境的可塑性而不是遗传变异导致的,不能将其看作两种生态型;芦苇功能性状的可塑性使得其可以适应黄河三角洲的不同生境。
To investigate whether the variations in functional traits of a plant species in different habitats is caused by plasticity of functional traits or genetic variations will be helpful to understand the habitat adaptability and genetic evolution of the plant.Populations of Phragmites australis found on river flats and tidal flats are dominant reed populations in the Yellow River Delta.The environmental factors and functional traits of Phragmites australis in river flats and tidal flats were investigated and compared under the natural condition.Nine functional traits of these two types of Phragmites australis were also compared through a twoyear common garden experiment.The results showed that under the field conditions,the contents of salinity,total carbon,total nitrogen and total sulfur in the soil of a tidal flat were higher than those in a river flat;Phragmites australis in a river flat had higher density,greater plant height and leaf number,while that in a tidal flat had higher basal diameter,leaf breadth,contents of total carbon,total nitrogen and total sulfur of the leaf.Under the condition of common garden experiment,there was no significant difference between the basal diameter,plant height,density,leaf number,leaf length,leaf breadth,and content of total sulfur of the leaf of Phragmites australis from the river flat and those from tidal flat.The content of total nitrogen of the leaf of Phragmites australis from the river flat was higher than that from the tidal flat,while content of total carbon of the leaf of Phragmites australis from the tidal flat was higher than that from the river flat.Therefore,the current differences in the most functional traits of Phragmites australis from the river flat and the tidal flat in the Yellow River Delta were due to plasticity of functional traits rather than genetic variation,which cannot be regarded as 2 ecotypes.The plasticity of functional traits makes the Phragmites australis adapt to different habitats in the Yellow River Delta.
