摘要
“首”“头”本义相同,且存在历时替换关系。在历史演变过程中,两词都产生了多个引申义项,这些义项出现的时代早晚不同,演变的路径和方向也有同有异。结合历史文献详细考辨了“首”“头”各个义项产生的具体时间,重点比较了两词词义演变路径、方向的异同,并分析了造成该状况的原因。研究发现,“首”“头”二词都可以扩展到人体构件、非人实体、等级、情感、方位、空间、时间、计量单位等范畴中,但二者在同一范畴中的用法却不尽相同。原因在于,“首”“头”共享有[顶端][起始]的位置特征,而“头”还独具[圆球状]的形貌特征。
The original meaning of“首”and“头”is the same,both indicating“head”,and there is a diachronic substitution relationship.In the process of historical evolution,the two words have produced many extended meanings,which appeared in different times,and there are similarities and differences in the path and direction of evolution.Combining with historical documents,this paper makes textual research on the specific time of the emergence of each meaning,focusing on the similarities and differences in the evolution path and direction of the meaning of the two words and analyzes the reasons for this situation.It is found that the words“首”and“头”can be extended to the categories of human components,non-human entities,rank,emotion,direction,space,time,units of measurement,but their usage in the same category are not exactly the same.The reason is that both of them share the position characteristics of[top][beginning],but“头”has the unique formal characteristics of[spherical].
