摘要
“虞候”本为军中伺察小吏,西魏北周至唐前期被纳入东宫官职序列,并于各州镇普遍设立。中晚唐时期,藩镇节度使体制的建立改变了地方武力结构,节度使府、镇戍系统、行营及中央禁军开始在虞候之上设立都虞侯。都虞侯职掌整顿军旅与执行军纪,亦可领军作战,甚至接替藩帅,地位不断上升。唐后期至五代时期,都虞候侵夺州县案件审理和系狱理囚的职权,干扰州县司法运作。唐五代都虞侯的职权不断扩大与地位急剧上升是当时军事体制变革与地方武力崛起导致的结果。
“Yuhou”originally refers to a small official in the army,which is one of the posts in the Prince’s palace and is generally established in every department from the Western Wei Dynasty to the early Tang Dynasty.During the late Tang Dynasty,the establishment of the military governor in prefectures changes the local military structure,with Du-Yuhou appointed,who has a higher status than Yuhou.They have the power to reorganize the army,enforce the military discipline,lead troops to fight,and even replace the governors of prefectures.In the late Tang and Five Dynasties,Du-Yuhou takes over the power of hearing cases and managing criminals,which greatly interferes with the administration of justice in the departments and counties.
