摘要
2015年,美国佛罗里达州立法机构通过了Complete Florida Plus(CF+)项目。该项目是一个面向全州的远程在线教育系统,旨在帮助那些有大学学分但因种种原因辍学而未取得学位的成人学习者重新获取高等教育学位证书。究竟该项目成效如何至今仍未可知。本文通过与中国类似的成人继续教育项目对比,对其进行系统评价,发现CF+项目是一个完全在线完成的学习项目。且因其完善的合作系统,该项目在服务特定对象(成人学习者)上更具优势。考虑到CF+项目的未来发展,建议该项目不仅要专注于个人服务,更要找寻能提供团体服务的组织,亦或是邀请更多知名高校参与到该项目,以此吸引更多的成年学习者。就长远而言,CF+项目还可以将其服务对象扩大至未拥有大学学分的成年人,以增强项目的普适性与实用性。
In 2015,Florida Legislature passed the Complete Florida Plus(CF+)Program,a statewide online education system designed to help adult learners who had some college credits but dropped out later to complete their college degrees.Yet,the effectiveness of the program is still unknown.In order to understand its effectiveness,this study compares it to a similar program,Continuing Education in China,and finds that the CF+Program is a fully online-based learning program may be limited at serving certain people(i.e.,adult learner),but has advantages at its cooperated system to serve more adult learner.Considering the future development of the program,the study is going to recommend that the program may not only want to focus on its individual services,but to find organizations to provide group services as well as to engage more prestige postsecondary institutions to attract more adult learners.In the long run,the CFP program could further expand its service target to those adults without any college credits,thus to make the program more accessible and practical.
