摘要
学科自诞生之日起便存在潜在的地位差异。从学科地位的角度来看,当前国内大学排名结果、方法都存在一定的学科偏见,排名结果有利于硬学科类高校、纯学科类高校和综合性高校,排名指标也倾向于这三类高校。理论上,学科不应存在地位差异。为此,大学排名应尊重学科文化,确定排名原则;区分学科领域差异,优化大学排名方法;软硬结合,优化大学排名指标体系及面向不同应用领域,合理使用排名结果,消除社会对特定学科的偏见,提高排名活动的科学性和公正性。
There have been potential status differences in disciplines since their birth.From the perspective of subject status,the current domestic university ranking results and methods have certain subject biases,which is manifested in the fact that the ranking results are beneficial to hard subject universities,pure subject universities and comprehensive universities;and the selected ranking indicators are also in favor of these three types of colleges and universities.Theoretically speaking,there should be no difference in status among disciplines.For this reason,university rankings should respect subject culture and determine ranking principles;acknowledge the differences in subject areas and optimize university ranking methods and ranking indicators.The ranking results should be resorted to considering the different application fields so as to eliminate the social bias towards particular disciplines and seek for scientific and fair ranking.
